Starting Point
When director Sebastijan Geč needed a visual concept for his new film and upcoming performance project, he came to us to build the movie’s graphic universe from the ground up.
The challenge was to create an identity that matched the dark, sinister atmosphere of the thriller and build enough momentum to pack the house for its premiere at Reaktor Wien.
Creative Strategy
We translated the film’s tense narrative into a sharp, uncompromising visual language across every touchpoint – from crowdfunding merch to the screen.
The identity needed to feel raw, precise, and cinematic. We developed a smart roll-out plan that included custom promo social media templates, screen-printed t-shirts, caps, and the official film poster.
Design with Purpose
The digital design is defined by high-contrast typography, pairing massive, blocky headlines with ultra-condensed type to mimic the physical sharpness of a blade. In the main title animation, the letterforms slowly detach and slide down the screen like dripping blood.
This intense aesthetic carries straight into the cinematic experience, utilizing bold opening and closing credits slammed against a blood-red canvas, resulting in a sold-out premiere.
